Our pride and joy – the wine cellar

The heart of our restaurant is its wine cellar, home to more than 30,000 bottles. Its exceptional quality and diversity are the result of the passion of Philipp Buholzer, who built the cellar over many years with remarkable expertise and dedication. His love of wine was inherited from his father, a renowned wine connoisseur and passionate wine lover.

His particular passion was for the great wines of Bordeaux. At the same time, he also sought out exquisite wines from the world’s most prestigious wine regions, which found their place in the cellar. One of its highlights is the complete collection of Château Mouton Rothschild dating back to the 1911 vintage — a collection of which Philipp Buholzer was justifiably proud.
